DETOXIFYING GREEN SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

500 ml (2 c) kale and/or baby spinach

375 --500 ml (11/2--2 c) fresh pineapple chunks

5 cubes ice (also see hint)

Juice of 1 orange

250 ml (1 c) strong CARMIEN REFRESH (GREEN HONEYBUSH, ROOIBOS & MINT) TEA (made with 2 tea bags), cooled

Directions

1Place the kale and/or spinach, pineapple and ice cubes in a food processor and blend until smooth.

2Add the orange juice and tea and process until well blended.

3Stain through a sieve if preferred and pour into glasses. Enjoy!

Hint: Double-up on your tea and freeze half of it in an ice tray. Use instead of the ice cubes.
