The Incredible Book Eating Boy by Oliver Jeffers

I must be honest there is not a book from the Oliver Jeffers collection that I have read and not absolutely loved! This book however has a special place and was my very first Oliver Jeffers Children’s book.

The story is about a boy, Henry, who by accident tasted a book. He discovered that he rather liked the taste and slowly started eating the book. First it was one word then a sentence and very soon he could gulp down a whole book all at once! The more books he ate the more books he wanted to eat. Until the books turned on him…
