Spring is so close I can start to smell it. We are having more and more barefoot adventures outside of the house since the sun has been peeking out and warming our little patch of heaven. This is truly the most wonderful time of the year in the Cederberg. The Namakwa daisies are in full bloom. White, orange, yellow and purple. It is a canvas of beautiful colours splashed all over dry tired fynbos fields (in need of as little rain). It is also the time of year for one of my favourite flowers – the Blushing Bride. I buy every stem I can find, exhibiting them in glass vases of all shapes and sizes. My mother is even flying home some of these delicate dancers to brighten a loved ones grave 1600 km from the Cederberg.
Pour a cup of Carmién Vintage Romance flower tea sit back and watch this slider on repeat….and just breath…
Have a happy Saturday
Love
Jeanelde
