Loose-leaf tea is made from the best quality tea leaves, providing a stronger, more flavoursome infusion in a much shorter time as the boiling water is in direct touch with the tea leaves. Loose-leaf tea is reminiscent of the traditional pot brewing on the stove, especially using our Stokkies organic Rooibos, but today it also has a purist following who takes the art of tea brewing seriously.

Preparation Instructions

Rooibos is prepared with boiling water and cooled to 60 degrees Celsius for the best flavour. It can also be cooled down completely and served as an iced tea. Red Rooibos has a clear red cup infusion while our Green Rooibos has a light cup infusion.

Cold Brew Rooibos is prepared with cold water and steeped for 10 minutes or more for the best flavour and is a convenient “on-the-go drink”.
