We are currently seeking a self-motivated Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in our ongoing success.
Job Description:
As a Sales & Events Coordinator at CarmiĆ©n Rooibos Tea, you will be responsible for supporting the companyās sales growth while also planning and executing events that promote the brand, products and customer relationships.
This role combines client-facing sales activities with event planning and coordination, ensuring that events are professionally managed and contribute to business development, brand visibility and revenue generation.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers and venues to ensure the smooth execution of events while actively identifying and supporting sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Growth of brand footprint in direct outlets channel.
- Client visits/contact in accordance to call-cycle/client database.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned regions or customer segments.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations and promotional engagements.
- Support the sales team with lead generation and client follow-ups.
- Assist in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records.
- Provide feedback from customers and the market to internal teams.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Plan, organise and coordinate events including product launches, promotions, activations, markets and customer events. (manning a stand and selling teas / performing tastings/parings as needed)
- Manage event logistics including stock ordering, equipment hiring and recon of stock and sales.
- Ensure brand standards and messaging are consistently applied at all events.
- Oversee event setup, execution and breakdown when required.
- Track and report on event outcomes and return on investment.
Marketing & Brand Support
- Work with marketing teams to ensure events support marketing campaigns and brand positioning.
- Coordinate event-related promotional materials and product displays.
- Assist with social media or marketing content related to events where required.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain event calendars and sales activity reports.
- Track event expenses and ensure budget adherence.
- Compile post-event reports including attendance, outcomes and opportunities generated.
- Manage supplier and vendor communications and documentation.
Knowledge/Skills:
- 2ā4 yearsā experience in sales, event coordination, marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Requirements
- Driverās license & own reliable vehicleĀ (willing to travel 3+ days a week)
- Ability to work remotely ā access to reliable internet and workspace
