Carmién Green Earl Grey is a blend of green rooibos delicately infused with the classic Earl Grey flavour of bergamot citrus. Unfermented Green Rooibos is much higher in antioxidants. A great immune boost. Green Rooibos naturally aids digestion and is hydrating and soothing on the nervous system.

Green Rooibos is an excellent flavour carrier, lifting out the Earl Grey Citrus taste. Very refreshing as an ice tea served with slices of lemon or oranges and mint leaves. Add some natural fruit juice if a bit of sweetness is preferred.

  • Green Rooibos: Powerful source of antioxidants, including nothofagin. Supports allergy relief. Soothes colic and cramps. Replenishes minerals. Calms the nervous system. Helps manage blood sugar.
  • Bergamot: Adds a lovely citrus flavour.

Preparation

Infusion Temperature

100°C (212°F)

Steeping Time

5-10 minutes
HOT BREW TEA
  • Use 1 teabag for every 250ml boiling water using a cup, or teapot.
  • Steep 5-10 min or to taste.
  • Enjoy with or without milk, honey/sugar or slice of lemon.
  • Best enjoyed at 60° C.
  • Important notice: Take care while working with boiling water.
HOT BREW ICE TEA
  • Use 1 teabag for every 250ml boiling water.
  • Steep 10 min or more. For a stronger infusion steep overnight and/or add extra teabags.
  • Remove teabags and chill.
  • Serve with ice.
COLD BREW TEA
  • Use 2 teabags for every 250ml cold water using a jug, water bottle or travel cup.
  • Steep for 10 min.
  • Leave teabags in.
  • Refrigerate and use within 24 hours.
Optional serving suggestions: Add honey or fruit juice if a sweeter ice tea or cold brew is preferred. Garnish with mint and/or a slice of fresh lemon.

Boss enjoying Green Earl Grey

I gave this tea to my boss for Christmas. She tried it out immediately, as she's mad about Earl Grey and wants to drink green tea for health reasons. She loved it - thank you for an excellent product
