  • Alfalfa leaf contains several vitamins, including vitamins K, E, and C. The highest proportion of vitamin K is beneficial in helping the blood clot and preventing bleeding during delivery and haemorrhage. It may also increase the milk supply.
  • Valerian root helps with anxiety, eases better sleep and helps with possible feelings of depression.
  • Blackthorn berry restores the body’s natural energy reserves and reduces fatigue.
  • Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and sugar-free.
  • Rooibos contains the potent antioxidant aspalathin, which can help combat several diseases.
  • Rooibos has anti-spasmodic qualities and alleviates colic and stomach cramps.
  • Rooibos replaces essential minerals, iron, potassium, zinc and sodium.

Preparation

Infusion Temperature

100°C (212°F)

Steeping Time

5-10 minutes
Steep one teabag in 250ml of boiling water for 5-10 minutes, or to taste. Enjoy with or without milk, honey/sugar or slice of lemon. Best enjoyed at 60° C.
