The Winners of the Carmién Kiddies and Love Alda Family Photoshoot

The Fourie Family was the winners of our Carmién Kiddies and Love Alda Family Photoshoot and as promosied here are the magical pictures.

“What better way to start the festive season than with a ‘golden hour’ shoot for the Clark family. They were the winners of Carmién Kiddies’ family photo shoot competition and a more vibrant family to photograph I couldn’t have asked for!

We agreed to meet at a rare ‘fields of gold’ find that I discovered earlier on in the week. Rare, because due to bad rainfalls, the farmers harvested most of the wheat fields earlier this year.

Despite agreeing to meet each other late afternoon, the heat in Paarl was almost unbearable when we started – not ideal when photographing a little 7 month old. There were some initial tears but after a while Caroline and Anthony’s little princess fell asleep on my non-shooting arm whilst we discussed the hills and valleys of parenthood. Soon the air was cooler and we tried again.

With a little help from my assistant, Kaila and some weird animal sounds to distract a now rested princess, we successfully captured beautiful memories for the Clark-family, compliments of Carmién Kiddies. ” Love Alda
