Acting as a natural diuretic and antiseptic, Buchu works on the kidneys, liver, and urinary tract, flushing the body of toxins and preventing infections. As such, the herb is used for symptomatic relief of complications related to Prostatitis and Cystitis. Buchu is also used to control diarrhoea.
  • Hoodia is a cactus-like plant that grows in Africa’s Kalahari Desert. Historically, the San Bushmen are believed to have used hoodia to suppress appetite.

Preparation

Infusion Temperature

100°C (212°F)

Steeping Time

5-10 Minutes
Steep one teabag in 250ml of boiling water for 5-10 minutes, or to taste. Enjoy with or without milk, honey/sugar or slice of lemon. Best enjoyed at 60° C.
